Electrons Explained In A Letter3/10/2019 This is a letter after returning from EXPO West, the big natural foods show in Orange County. It was pretty crazy but I had a great talk with a CEO PHD of an othomolecular product producer. After I wrote the letter I thought I would share it as it has a good explanation of the various topics I often discuss in a very condensed way. If you read this and understand it you will see the deep implications. If you need any clarity, please ask. Hi, this is Rob Alexander. We spoke at Expo about electrons and electron chain transport. I very much enjoyed our conversation and have a number of ideas and questions about these things. Mostly understanding the electron as a particle/wave contained in an orb expressed in a unidirectional magnetic field. I see electrons as electric spark (aka charge / light) that express various frequencies much like sunlight expresses various frequencies throughout the day. This would establish frequency-based circadian biology on the mitochondrial level as the electron coverts itself into chemical martial biology through the process of electron chain transfer, creating water to act as a battery for the charge that would expand and contract based on the heat from the charge. So, as I understand it, electrons would not be created equal in the same way that morning light from the sun is different than evening light even though both are light. This is also effected very much by the unidirectional magnetism in the environment that would provide a field for the electric to be expressed. So the light and magnetic environment would influence the electron (light) on the subatomic level. Now the NAD shuttle for electrons within the electron chain transfer if inflated through supplementation would potentially distort the process of the chain as the people very exited about NAD are not talking much about the electron (electromagnetic charge expression) that is directly effected by the environmental (frequency) environment where this process is taking place. I suspect this understanding of light and magnetism influences in the environment (altering the frequency expression of electrons) will be as much of a shift as epi-genetics was to genetics and these two also interact. This would also show that the health effects of non-native electo-magnetic frequencies (nNEMF) from wifi and tech have massive negative biological effects, especially on mitochondria dense parts of the body (the brain and heart). I think we are already seeing this and I have begun to focus all my attention on this understanding. It explains not only the trends in the health industry (keto, DHA and other Inuit traits which historically boosted mitochondrial function in low light environments), but the illnesses that are becoming prevalent in our society, especially in high tech environments aka high population areas. I have a few ideas about ways to support these systems naturally but am very careful to use chemistry to adjust mechanisms in the body that are powered by the physics of light/time. I haven't mentioned my concerns about deuterium content in the supplemental mitochondria products that would be earlier in the chain as hydrogen only contains one electron and deuterium as "heavy hydrogen" could act as thick oil in the mitochondria. The environmental component is that sunlight depletes deuterium in nature which is why high light environments like the equator have plants that shed their deuterium through the fruit where low light environments up north do not have plants or deuterium foods. This would mean that a persons light environment (deuterium depletion environment) would have a different effect from say an NAD pill that contains deuterium. The theory is that many supplements contain a massive amount of deuterium as hydrogen is half the weight and falls off in the processing. This is an aspect of why highly processed foods are bad, typically high carb - meaning high deuterium- foods that have the hydrogen stripped and the deuterium left behind becoming doubly back in terms of the mitochondrial effect. I have not found any supplement makers even taking this into account in the production process.
In any case, this has been a simplification as I'm sure you know each piece goes deep but it has very far reaching implications especially because light and tech environments are not typically taken into account in hospitals or alternative health facilities, gyms, etc. I would love feedback on these ideas as you are far more educated than I am. I'm just trying to make sense of various ideas as I learn how to navigate my own health and increase my redox potential (net negative charge aka electron retention, also understood as light retention). Super Foods - When & Where3/4/2019 In the alternative health world there are several popular terms that I like many heard and used without putting the word in its proper context or even understanding it. Some examples are Nutrition - without a mention of light Detox - with out a mention of redox potential (net negative charge, toxins are positively charged) Juicing - without any mention of water quality (not taken into account for organic or not) Alkalize the body - Different parts are different ph's so which part? the stomach is very acidic and needs to be and on and on but today I'll be talking about SuperFoods A term used by so many companies to market their products when there is no regulation what so ever on what a super food is. Name any food that is even remotely viewed as healthy and it has probably been called a superfood. Yesterday I did a talk called "What should I eat?" and the goal was to change the conversation from what to first asking where and when. If you have followed any of these blogs hopefully you have picked up on my focus being light and light telling time. (if not see the past few blogs) So where is the question what is the light environment and when asks what time (season, day, life cycle ect) time is dictated by light. Super foods, as I remember when I first started hearing the term, where typically where exotic things like gogi berries or acai bowls. Now it seems that super foods have turned into entire categories like greens. So now we can really put some things in context. Foods that grow in high light environments tend to have high amounts of anti oxidants and vitamin c for example. Makes sense as these are plants and plants convert light into sugars and sugars compete with vitamin C so the more sugar you eat the more vitamin C you need and the anti oxidants prevent the fruit from oxidizing super fast because sugars are not very stable and have a lot of water in them compared to something further up the food chain like an egg. Nature doesn't make mistakes but if the acai is shipped to another environment the light that it took in from photosynthesis is re expressed in the body possibly causing a circadian glitch if someone eats it where it does not grow. Many plants like in the vitamin C example contain the benefit that of sets the negative aspect of that plant. Now people are starting to call everything from wheat grass to chia seeds (the chia seems particularly silly to me) but so many people are simply googling super food this or that and never asking those two important questions about light and time Where am I and When is it. The Inuit should probably not be eating tons of gogi berries. Here is a fun realization that is experiential in my own life.
I myself love cacao, it has been called a super food as it has a number of benefits one being a very high PQQ content and PQQ is a substance that has been shown increase the production of new mitochondria (the engines that power cells so very very important to focus on them) Cacao tends to come from an area that has high unidirectional magnetism. High Unidirectional Magnetism increases the charge on the electron that in short increases the power output in the mitochondria to power all the cells which them increases the function of ALL your bio chemistry. If I lost you on that it doesn't matter the take away is that now I'm saying cacao will have a different effect not only based on light but on the magnetism in the area it is consumed. So I got a Magnetico Sleep Pad (see the blog on that HERE) which alters my magnetism environment. I found myself craving cacao and feeling the benefits more. My theory (and it's just a theory) is that altering my magnetic environment to more closely resemble the environment where cacao comes from allows me much greater benefit from it. Meaning it was a food and then it became a "superfood" for me based on magnetism. Totally changes the conversation of superfoods to questions about environment. Food is tricky that way. I would also say that food grown under junk, fake light is very different that the naturally grown and foods with good water are very different than those with bad water. In the same way grass fed cows are different than grain fed. People seem to apply this to animals and not plants when plants are fed light and water. In same way Lions Mane, one of my favorite substances for brain and nervous system health, has been used for a very long time but now my theory is that it will become a "superfood" not based on the light or magnetism environment like the previous examples but because of the tech environment. Mushrooms handle unnatural electro magnetic frequencies well. We are now being bombarded by EMF's that are having a massive negative effect on health so a mushroom the interacts with the nervous system (which is very negatively affected by EMF) may prove to be a very important tool based on the tech environment. Also just a theory. Hopefully we are giving things context instead of just throwing blanket statements about foods that may be "super" in one place and time and not in another. I will say that in my world (not yours or anyone else's) cacao, lions mane, salmon, eggs, grass-fed beef and raw milk, olive oil and a few key others are my primary foods and they are super for me in the place and time. If I take a trip down south you may see me eating acai. Fix The Time Clock & Fix Your Health2/23/2019 I posted this not too long ago. I have tried to connect Light to food, exercise, time and water. Very common topics in health not put in the proper context. The question of when should be the first question and the when is determined by light. There are no constants in nature. There is nothing but cycle based climate change in your body and everywhere else in nature. So many people live in a destorted light environment they have no idea what time it is. This was the point. Why do casinos not have windows? So you won't know what time it is and you will spend more money. Why is all your tech attempting to do the same thing. So you'll spend more money. The light coming off your devices spikes your dopamine, it also alters you neurol;ogy so that you think less critically and think more form an emotional/ tribal perspective. This is what I tried to point out in the smoking baby blog. What you do or take has to be done at the right time. All the chess peices shown above have different functions and the game needs them all. But what is the foundation of the game. What is the context that allows all the peices to be used......? The chess board. The two boxes are light and time. Md's alt health people, nutritionists, trainers, chiropractors or who ever is desribing and selling you chess pieces without the board will never be able to win at the game of health.
I am not throwing out the chess pieces I am just giving them context. Now you know. On this site have given as much free content as I can. I am doing it for me but I will say that I have written these blogs to change the conversation of health. Any questions about what to take, do, eat, drink are questions of light and time first. The price of an answer is asking the question. The story of time and light goes very deep. My brain is for rent. I can explain it to you. Sp please share the blogs. Question the people you are getting health info from. Look at their light environments. far too many people are investing all thier time and good intentions on more and more chess pieces. You probably have plenty and don't have a board. Why isn't light and time talked about more? Nature has a patent on it. So all diets, juicing, gmo's, detoxing, exercise blah blah blah virtually every topic in health and virtually every illness will find this truth at its base. Change your tech and light environments and nothing else and watch your brain, body and health change. What should you do specificly. No one knows. Only you know where you sleep, what light you see and so one. see why it can't be packaged up and sold to you. The wrong light will make you fat, and sick. I can help you. My guess is that sooner or later this will come around and you will think. The guy in the tinted glasses was right. but be ahead of the curve. if others can't explain why mainstream and alt health isn't working maybe they need a chess board. What Exercise Is Best? - The Truth2/14/2019 I'm gonna tell you the single best exercise to do. But first let me tell you about red light therapy. (It is starting to be promoted by people all over the place and by every biohacker that will sell any and every half truth under the sun.) I think red light therapy is a step in the right direction as it draws attention to light but of coarse has its issues. Red light therapy shows the benefits of red light to the body and the benefits are many. Relative to todays topic I'll only pick two Fat loss and testosterone boosting. Both of these quotes are from the Joov web site-
Joov fat loss claims "How Does Light Therapy Work to Reduce Fat? [2] " If you understand that red light helps with fat loss and testosterone then let me share a secret with you. In nature blue light is offset by red light. Guess what blue light does.......fat gain and testosterone decrease. Yup the opposite of red light therapy is blue light toxicity. Kind of makes everyone at the gym look silly. Any benefit from red light can be flipped backwards to know what blue light from your screens over head lights and the rest is doing. So back to the question what exercise is best. Any motion at all done under natural light. Far better to take a walk in nature than to go break your body down under lights that cause fat gain and test decreases. I could go on and on about the science here but I wanna keep it simple. Movement out doors is the answer....any movement. Whats my problem with Joov? On there adds they say 20 minutes is equivalent to several hours in the sun. If you understand that sun is expressed on a time spectrum and communicates time then you know a fixed light source from an a/c wall plug is no replacement for the sun. But it is a step in the right direction. The more benefit you get from red light therapy the more natural light you need to reset the circadian rhythms. Joov will not help you with this...in fact it may cause even more biochemical circadian confusion as in the long term even if it expresses better chemistry than blue light. (questions the sales people aren't asking or don't wanna loose the pay check) Not my quote but saw it yesterday "you can't out nature, nature" Hint no ones natural environment is pure blue or pure red light. Neither is the solution. One Answer - Infinite Questions2/8/2019 In the Last Blog Post - I tried to answer the question of -What should I eat? - for the entire world while dismissing every diet book, every MD or diet pusher as either wrong or ignorant. Even challenging nutrition itself, studies not taking the light environment into account (and none do). No small task. In that post and the video that followed I tried to draw attention to the aspects of light as time. So food is a container for light that tells us what time it is through our gut. The eye and skin are also taking in light bypassing the gut but accomplishing the same task of allowing light into our bodies. We established that life itself is less about your chemistry and much more about the process of light returning to itself. Light also tells us where we are based on the idea that all environments are established by their light environment. What the temperature is and what grows in the place to support life there is all dictated by the type of light. A dessert, Wisconsin, the rain forest. Of corse there are other environmental factors but your body is constantly acclimating to the environment based on the light and temp which is connected directly to light. So I'm saying food at it's core is light. Location at its core is light. Now for time. Time is light. We have forgotten this. Much in the same way that we are so detached from nature in our food we are detached from natural time. Why? Change the light environment and you cange the time environment both in and outside your body. Light cycles tell us what time it is. Our construct of hours minutes and the rest are not real any more than our languages are. These things are functional ideas that we agree upon. We agree that the symbols I'm typing now have a certain meaning. Maybe you are reading this in the way I intend you to, maybe you are not. Time is based on light cycles. So light is telling our biochemistry what time it is by what light we consume. Food tells us what time it is. Light entering the eye and skin also tells us what time it is. If your clocks are set to natural time your chemistry will express itself properly. People seem to vaguely recognize this but not apply it. Imagine a business that has 200 workers they all work different shifts and do different things. The time clock breaks. How long before they stop showing up. The solution is not hiring more workers. The solution is fixing the time clock. See the significance of this. We have no idea what time it is so we are hiring all kinds of chemicals, pills, devices, drugs, hormones and on and on when these things are often there they just show up at the wrong time so we assume they are gone. They are there, the body container a pharmacy inside it. But if you show up to the pharmacy when It's closed you'll have to look elsewhere. This problem is very profitable for many businesses and bad for us.
You see the more we "hire from the outside" the less incentive the body has to perform these functions. I'm trying to tie together food as light, time as light, location and environment as light. I'm trying to make everything very simple. Guess what is the starting point for heath?.....understanding light. Guess what you should learn about guess what will make the fastest and biggest impact on every aspect of you. Physical, emotional, spiritual, relational all of it. Its all the same story applied in the same way. Everyone in mainstream and alternative health talking about anything that doesn't start with a conversation about light either doesn't know or knows but hasn't found a way to make money off light. Think of your favorite youtube health personality. What are they making content about? Are they talking about broth or aintshit nutrition? Today I saw popular people making videos on cold soars, putting fat in coffee and diet pushing. Whats the problem with this? It distracts us from the task at hand. You see these people are not harmless using a platform to talk about anything in the wrong order or not knowing what it is at its core is taking up space in the minds of sick people that desperately need to hear the truth of natural light. I see things clearly. I also know what it is like to be at the bar sober. As the night goes on it becomes harder and harder to have a conversation with people they don't know it. With this addiction, depression, anxiety, suicide, political polarization, global warming, sickness, obesity and basically everything else can be explained. The sad reality. This message is brushed over. I know this message will not become popular. I know the laws of quantity verses quality. I don't have an agenda I just need the opportunity to be the person that tried to put it out there because that is the type of person I am. Here 's the hard truth. Nobody, I mean no body knows your light environment but you. So you can't ask anyone. It is up to you. Only you know. The only question no one wants to ask is who am I? Instead it is just defaulting to social/emotional/cultural norms to think for you. Telling you who you are, what to buy, how to be. Nature forces you to think critically with the prefrontal cortex. As I write this I stop typing, I rub my hands together. They feel a bit cold at the moment calloused from trying to do more pull ups and the unique ness of my finger tips. Can you imagine asking google or suri or whatever or whatever alt health person or md what do my hands feel like right now? There is nothing new under the sun. It's time. Once you see this truth sunglasses become such a wonderful testament to the modern age. What does it all mean? What are the real ramifications of all this. Look around. It is happening. The older generation is alive because they aren't exposed to the tech the way the children are. Brain development out of time causes major issues. Even the tech biohackers don't understand this, that is why I'm against Quaila (the nootropic) for the same reason I'm against blue light. The nuero hacker collective is distorting a brain that is already most likely set to the wrong time and now has the wrong chemistry so even if the person gets the light right the chemicals can't re balance as a result of the chemical interference. What time is it? Time to get to the absolute. To the answer to every question if you follow it to is logical end or back to its logical beginning without stopping to ask culture. Never ask an addict if you should get sober and very few people are not addicted to the things that make this simple truth so misunderstood. Neurogenesis Vs Depression - Part 11/10/2019 Absolutely everything I think seems to be both obvious and profound to me. When I was younger I was a fat, heavy, cigarette smoking, alcoholic. I strategically induced dopamine releases dosed out over time to stay in a perpetual state of spike with no crash......over time I proved this doesn't work. I now know there are no cheats. The lows always balance out the highs. This is a universal law you cannot get around. Guess what is on the other side of the mountain? A valley...consistently. Now that you know, you can enjoy the hike and realize that change is the only constant, and thank god or else we would be faced with the one problem that nature or god or whatever you'd like to call it has, which is boredom. I could talk about this forever but a part of me doesn't want the secret to get out because if too many people figure out that everything that exists will swing back the other way, then there will be no fear, no villain, and no fun for the universe to play the hero. So regarding neurogenesis: I have spent a great deal of time and energy learning about fractals. I often think of the brain an our nervous system as a tree in our body. When I was an alcoholic I was unknowingly chasing dopamine and destroying my neurogenesis and ultimately my brain. Alcohol stops the dopamine blocker in the brain (that normally shuts off when it's supposed to) so that you feel good along with a slew of other symptoms: vision issues, inhibited motor function, slurred speech, black outs, etc. This is really neurotoxicity or short term brain damage. I did not know this. I just knew that I didn't feel good sober and that certain behavior made me feel better. It was a self-medicating strategy. I didn't have enough neurological margin to make it through the day to invest in long term happiness, so I had to settle for short term highs. I was depressed. Think about the word depression. Here is the definition: de·pres·sion /dəˈpreSH(ə)n/ noun noun: depression
Take note of the 2nd definition listed above: a sunken place. This is a depressed brain. The point is, a shirking brain feels depressed and a growing brain feels happy. A depressed brain relies on short-term dopamine highs and a long-term happy brain has sustainable serotonin. Dopamine and serotonin are neurotransmitters. They are always changing and I'm not trying to absolutize one over the other, but I will say that SSRI anti-depressants stand for Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors; meaning that the re-uptake of serotonin is stopped so there is more of it. So why is it so hard to break free of depression? Lots of reasons, but the one I want to point out is that neurogenesis refers to a growing brain. This is common in kids because they are learning so much so fast. It's also common in people who are engaged in multiple engagements and activities. Happiness is reserved for people that can handle change. The reward of being open to learning is a brain that grows, which equates to a happy person. Here is the hard part: when the new pathways in the brain are emerging, it is like the birth of a new version of you. Giving birth (I've heard) is very challenging and painful, yet rewarding. Giving birth to new ideas and in turn a new brain is no different. If you are a visual learner, watch the 2 videos below: one is neurogenesis and the other is a seed growing over a 21 day period. 21 days is significant because that is about how long it takes for new neuro pathways to form. When I was drinking, I was just trying to make it through the day. I could never seem to get far enough ahead to make it the 3 weeks to learn and in turn be happy, so I just kept living pay check to pay check in my depressed brain.
It's important to understand that you are both the roots growing and the grounds surrounding the roots so to speak, and that is why it is so painful to learn and change. Wether conscious or subconscious, a part of me worried that if I became a happy person I wouldn't be me anymore. I was a drinker, I was a punk and city boy, a smoker. At the time I didn't want to lose myself and turn into some hippy, nature buff, typing on a health blog while intermittent fasting. I didn't know any better. When you see the plant grow, at no point do you think it's no longer the same plant even though it changes as it grows. If you have similar thoughts, trust that it is safe to change. The change will take time (at least 3 weeks), and you won't hardly notice it. So growing brains are happy. In part 2 I'll tell you the things I did to get the margin to make it through my days and the weeks required for me to grow my brain along with what you can do to break out of any rut you find yourself in. Just be willing to give birth to those new ideas about becoming a happier version of yourself. Alcohol and other chemicals stunt and kill the idea babies the same way they do real babies. Part 2 is on the way. Until then, think about growing your brain and being happy. What would that look like? Bio hacking is an interesting school of health. It is different than the nutritionists or the body builders ect but at the same time can encompass aspects of all different of health. In fact in trying to figure out what is a bio hack and what isn't you just have to ask a person and see what they say. No official rule book here. Any thing that is healthy and an action can be considered a bio hack in the same way that any food that is healthy can be called a super food and is. or could be called food as other things people call food that contain no light, time or nutrients are some other thing....filler would be the right word. This is just the battle of quantity vs quality and the changing of language. Once everything that is healthy is marketed as a super food then there will be a new name for it like super dupper food. This is the natural progression of things. Bio hacking started, as far as I can tell, being largely device and drug/pill driven. OG bio hackers where the people embedding electronics into their body. I was an econ student so I always follow the money and the bio hacker community is fueling the future of the health and wellness industry because of the age ranges the economics stability of the group and the intelligence behind their ideas. These are the silicon valley types on all kinds of nootropics. Another word that started out as a drug or not so natural substance for brain enhancement and ended up as well......anything that is good for the brain. This is all ok I just think it is interesting. I myself have dipped into the device world looking for cool electronics to enhance my body and mind. Nootropics of all kinds and all sorts of different behaviors that increase health. All these and more would be considered bio hacker focuses, like denominations under a religion. But what is emerging is clear line the biohacker reformists are return to nature people. Whats the difference? Cryotherapy vs jumping in the ocean Red light therapy devices stuck up your nose ect vs sun light Pills vs food A device to mitigate a NNEMF frequency vs shutting of the router The newest technology for an automated workout vs running on the beach I can go on but hopefully you get the point. Tech bio hackers are trying to get natural benefits from unnatural things and nature bio hackers are trying to alter their environments. The pluses of the tech bio hacker school is many -easy to make money off devices and pills -its fun- like toys for adults (getting a new bio hack device reminds me of getting a new Nintendo as a kid) -it fits with a pro tech lifestyle (as life gets more tech it becomes easier to just integrate health into a the tech so your smart watch can send you emails and check your Heart variability ect) -it lets the person be involved in the bio optimization process with pills and programs, the chemist and architect (in other words its great for the ego) I could go on, this is an appealing position There is only one negative that I have found.....it doesn't work. Sometimes the best way to take a nap is with your eyes shut. This is the blind leading the blind and they have no idea what the tech does to their neurology. But the more tech is used the worse the neurology and so one. Like reasoning with a drunk as the night goes on is never a good idea and we are drunk on tech.
Yeah I know, it sucks all the pills, racitams and devices that we love so much are fun to play with but like it or not everyone who is alive is subject to nature. We can't improve nature wee have to submit to it and that is no fun. Nature doesn't need us and she has already figured everything out. After changing schools from the tech bio hacker to a nature bio hacker (which is someone who does natural things but maybe knows the science of why they are beneficial where the tree huger hippy does the same natural behaviors they just intuit their way into them, us brain people can't stand it when we work so hard just find out many others just kind of knew in their....heart... (I said it) that the fake stuff was bad. And there is is. The tech stuff is fake and that is bad for business. Bad for device sales and for the companies pretending to be ancient when they are just powdering cheap stuff and selling it for a high price with a health claim that is just indirect enough to get past the regulators. Because an ancient keto product would be...butter. Not coconut processed into mct powdered and bound to a fiber or worse a powdered processed "protein" sold in a tub. At some point a thing ceases to be the original thing and becomes something else. The problem with all the tech bio hack stuff, and I see the appeal, is that it is fake and there for a lie and lies that pretend to be true are still just lies. Nature wont reward these behaviors and the longer the tech biohack group goes on the more problems we will see with the brain drugs and the devices cause issues. Depending on your environment everyone has to do different "hacks" but the best hacks are getting as far away from the thing causing the problem. I think the difference is that one school wants nature to submit to modern life where the other wants modern life to submit to nature. An example would be the magnetico sleep pad is an amazing tool to enhance the earth natural unidirectional magnetism. And yes I am an affiliate and yes you should buy one. Why is this ok because it is in line with nature. If you find anything else let me know. nature bio hackers need to make money too but are just unwilling to sell things that are at best a waste and at worst unhealthy. Most people could never understand the true benefit of the magnetico or they would immediately do what ever they could to get one. But I call it a tool and not a device. It doesn't use any tech its just a big ass magnet. Its natural. Everything plugged into a wall plug has to be scrutinized. Yes cold is good, keto is good, light is good, the earth is good but all these things are only good if they are done naturally and at the right time. I don't know if I can call myself any type of a bio hacker anymore as I now can't seem top find any pills better than an oyster or any hack better than standing bare foot in the cold ocean facing the sun. I'm submitting to nature and to be honest there are less highs and less lows.....because it just works and it doesn't need me. Deuterium Test Results12/23/2018 Back On 11/29 I did a Blog post called Deuterium And Enlightenment You may want to check that post out. Feels like forever ago but I got my deuterium test results back today. Here they are......(Vulnerable feeling) Not great but also pretty much what I expected. Why? Well I had never heard the word Deuterium until I saw this Luke Storey Podcast Which I highly suggest you check out. I was geeking out pretty hard on this. I'm so amazed at the complexity of the systems. I've learned some stuff since then so I feel a bit better about this blog than the last one. What is deuterium? To be simple its like thick oil in the mitochondria, which are the engines of the cell that covert electromagnetic (charge) to ATP (chemical energy. What do we deu? (couldn't resist) Let me step back. I was just finishing my 6 month transformation. (See Before&After) I lost 45 pounds and was doing small window intermittent fasting and carb cycling meaning I was having carbs only before and after intense exercise. What carbs was I having.......a coconut water drink and a protein bar (a clean bar but still sugar and heavily processed) I was loosing weight and thought this was a great situation. On came the deuterium podcast right as I'm finishing my transformation and wondering what to deu (ok I'll stop) next. I find out some things. I learned about deuterium. I learned about how an overload can cause mitochondrial issues and I am a mitochondria focused person, because I have to be. Long story short most of your mitochondria come from mom and I was taken at birth by the state as my mother was not healthy. I got adopted and got very fat eating the same junk food as my adopted family...because my mitochondria are shitty. I didn't understand all this but viewing my life through the mitochondriac lens I see why I was so sick and miserable my entire life. Anyway thats another post. I have to do way more right than the average person because my system functions so poorly. That is why my life's focus is health, it has to be. I am the indicator frog for the rest of the people on the planet so I know whats coming for people in the future eskimo life, gotta be cold, get lots of sea food and fat and avoid the sugar, fake blue light ect. what does all this have to do with deuterium? Plants strategically shed their deuterium by pushing it to the part that falls off the tree....the fruit. We eat the fruit and get loaded with deuterium. But not to worry guess what depletes deuterium. Natural light. In nature fruit only exists where and when light is abundant the less light there is the more people had to rely on fats and protein aka eskimo life or local seasonal keto in the winter and fruit only picked off the tree. Fast forward to modern life. We're eating carbs year round never cycling with the seasons. So the coconut water I was drinking that I thought was so healthy....high in deuterium, so high they used it as an example of what not to consume ever on the podcast above.. Then all the synthetic supplements I was taking. I was wanting to cut back but this was the nail in the coffin for me and synthetic supps. They are pretty much deuterium pills as deuterium is heavy hydrogen meaning the more processed a thing is chances are the more deuterium it has. This goes for supps, drugs processed foods and everything else that isn't fresh and local. The last piece was water. I was drinking a ton of water thinking it was good for me. Most water is high in deuterium. If you are high carb you need to drink lots of water. However, if you are high fat drink less water as you will make deuterium depleted water in the mitochondria. Like how a camel makes water out of the fat in its humps in the desert. So started the next faze. I am only lions mane mushroom for supps, I'm keto and for the most part local seasonal. Yes my workouts are not near as good. But also it's the winter so I would not expect to have as much energy as I k=now know energy comes from the sun and I'm not getting exposed to nearly as much as I was. We are not supposed to be the same weight year round, the same energy level ect. Know what time it is. And heres the thing because I know what time it is I'm not freaked out about my test results. This is something I have never depleted in my life so I would have a lot of build up. Plus its winter so light is low. Sunlight helps to deplete deuterium so I probably need to spend this summer keto even if the fruits are growing in my local environment just to deplete. No more coconut water, no more bars or processed foods of any kind. Seasonal, local, high fat high DHA. I did get the mask The Deuterium Depletion Center sells I didn't get the water as I am toying with eating fat and making it in my system. I know not to retest for a long time. Probably 6 months which will get me to summer. Summer light and I'll be keto and low supp, low processed until then.
This was the science I needed to finally dramatically reduce my supps, and cut out the bars and other foods that were still in my life. The mask is making me mindful of breathing. Always ask when? When you take this test, if you take it, the when will alter the outcome and the always amazing Dr. Jack Kruse recently pointed out in a podcast with Luke Storey (I hope that link works it was FB Live but look for it because it was a game changer.) The story goes deeper with Deuterium and a place that gives the information about the problem, tests for it and sells the solution to bad results has to be heavily scrutinized. So everything I'm doing is beneficial anyway. The story with deuterium is like every other one. Time & Light. How much light are you getting? How old are you? What season is it. Nature built a perfect cycle for deuterium depletion. Of coarse it fits with every other cycle in nature. Light cycles. I have a feeling for the rest of my life the end of every blog, health conversation and to myself before I fall asleep will be the words. Submit to nature The more natural light you retain the more alive you will be Resist the temptation to be the chemist of the body body instead be the guardian. Guard the surfaces. The password to enter is the correct time and the charge (very literally) of admission into my body in authentic, true, natural light. I got into health several years ago from being sick. I knew that the mainstream stuff wasn't the direction I wanted to go. When I say mainstream I mean the pharmaceutical route. Other parts of mainstream medicine are great and if I get hit by a car you better believe I'm going straight to the hospital. Mainstream health is regulated and has its pluses and minuses. the pluses are you know what you're going to get. An aspirin in New York and an aspirin in California are the same pill, by law. The minus both are toxic and at best a pain relief band aid that won't cure anything. The person that is completely Pharma is not the person I am writing this specific blog for (even though I wish they would read it anyway) I am writing this for the Alternative Health world. I don't call the things I have found that work alternative health normally, I just call them health. But I have been around long enough to see the pluses and minuses of alternative health. People tend to develop passion about an issue only when they themselves have had a personal experience with it. If you get cancer or your close family member dies of cancer you may all of a sudden find yourself telling other about cancer. Well, I was sick and the negative aspects of the alternative health industry made me sicker. Does this mean I hate alternative health? No the opposite I want people to get the benefits but not get worse from natural health. If you've been paying any attention to the info on this site you will see that I am getting more and more educated about nature and its effects on the body and specifically the mitochondria in the cells that power every cell and in turn power the body and all its chemistry. The more I learn about how humans evolved the more I realize that our efforts to improve nature, who has been playing the slow game and developing us over millions of years, may not be the best or healthiest idea. Of coarse this is bad for business when you know that the earth, food (a very short list of local seasonal no label foods is what I mean by food) and especially the sun are the keys to real health. Not in the way I used to think as people who know me know I grew up in the city and was very opposed to the idea of nature for health. I think of myself as an immune system cell in the body of alternative health. trying to fight off the cancers that are trying to steal resources from this body to thrive at its expense. You see alternative health is unregulated or should I say not regulated from the outside because you can't regulate natural substances. (trust me the powers that be would if they could figure out how but its tough to do) This means that the alternative health industry needs to regulate itself from within. The 2 easiest ways to make residual money in alternative health are with products or devices. I am an econ guy so I always follow the money to find out why things are the way they are. Its not wrong to sell products or to charge for the device use unless you knowingly change or omit information to keep people from finding out its fake. My devotion to truth and science has made me unpopular among people selling half truths (lies) not routed in science. I realize this is already a very long post and I need to finish up and haven't started yet. I did write a supplement company review that immediately got me threatened legally and occupationally. I plan on just sharing things to look for and not naming specific companies in the future as a standard business plan to start a company flood the shelves with products that are sub par and then sell it off (5 year plan) before anyone figures it out is not something that companies want the general population to know. I did do a blog post on - What to look for in a Protein Powder - and that would be a good thing to check out. Hoping others benefit from my efforts. As Always I appreciate any Shares as I don't profit from this blog I just want to help tell people everything I wish someone had told me. Ok, traps I stepped in on my walk down the road of alternative health.... Electronic Devices - be careful of anyone who can't explain the electromagnetics of theses devices often referred to as frequency machines. If it plugs into a wall plug (A/C 60 Hertz) be careful your body runs on D/C current and not 60 Hertz and yes this effects the frequency. Which leads us to... The Herxamer Effect - aka herx ing - this is often called a healing crisis and is the idea that you get worse before you get better. This is true...sometimes just not near as often as people in alternative health would like. Everything is backwards in health (get cold to generate heat, break down muscle to build it up ect) but in nature everything that is a breakdown process is met with a natural a high so you feel good when the hard part of healing is happening. Many people selling products or devices use the word Herx to cover up the fact that the thing is actually just making you feel bad and is destructive to your system. Be careful of anyone profiting from a device or product that says herx. Detox - This is a big one. I was very sick and the alternative health world said detox, detox detox. What did no one tell me? That toxin accumulation in the body is a result of low charge, specifically when there is not enough power for the sodium potassium pump on the cell which will then open the calcium channel to maintain the charge as an emergency survival mechanism that is not ment to be used long term. When it does it brings positively charged toxins into the cell. What does all that mean? It means that anyone focused on detoxing should be focused on increasing charge as this is why they are toxic to begin with. Nutrients - Another big one. I could spend a long time on this and it is worthy of its own post but for now I'll say a dead body and a living body contain the same nutrients and chemicals. Whats the difference the dead body has no (light) electromagnetic charge. Anyone talking about nutrients, super foods, sups before spending a massive amount of time talking about light and time is putting the cart before the horse. Beware. Consider The Source - Never buy a health product or service from a sick person. This seems obvious but it needs to be said. Many sales people in the alternative health world are not hired because they are healthy or knowledgeable but because they are good enough at sales to be unhealthy and still make a living selling health. Nothing wrong with being an overweight heavy drinking, heavy smoking person but this may not be the person to buy your health products from or trust their information. Many times critical thinkers make terrible sales people as they can't just repeat the sales pitch they have been given by their critical thinking employer. The foot soldier is on a need to know level. The generals are the ones calling the shoots and they never enter a store or have interactions with the public in a non controlled environment or they would be exposed as frauds and given the Axe by the customer. Labels - Remember that the alternative health industry is largely unregulated. The words proprietary blend ( now ccalled healing blend or fill in the black ____blend) means you have no idea whats in it. Remember the best magicians wave their right hand so you won't see what they do with the left. If a company draws attention to one thing on the label look at the competing products. Ask if all the other products on the self have something (like an amino acid profile) why doesn't this one have it. Also remember that the organic icon and non gmo (butterfly logo) have standards but just because a product has a button that looks like one of those icons on it means nothing. Studies Show....- If the company conducted the study on their own product that is not a good thing. If the study was on a different form of the thing that bad news. Companies are betting on you not being able or wanting to go through the studies to find out if they are legit. If you know anything about coffee you know that if you drink it when you wake up it has a different effect than right before you go to sleep so I could have legit studies showing different effects of coffee. Because time, location and environment matter. I'm not saying all studies are bad. Just know that a company may have a stack of conflicting information and highlight the pluses and omit the minuses. This is very common. I could keep going......in fact I will in another blog post as I haven't gotten to chiropractors, muscle testing, super foods, veganism, plastics, sea food and on and on. I'm not throwing the baby out with the bath water, there is just whole lot of bath water. Don't be overwhelmed just keep it simple. Get on the earth in the sun and only eat local seasonal with a focus on fat and seafood. Note that none of that makes you excited like a new device, a new pill or a promise from a practitioner. Take it from me I'm in recovery from illness solution addiction and I should probably start a support group. Why do this site and blog? I told people the wrong stuff and I'm always learning and growing. This blog will allow me to continually update my information and show my learning process. Have you ever given someone a gift but they didn't value it because it was free?....imagine how nature feels. The Subtle Art Of Discomfort12/3/2018 The thing we all know and don't want to do....be uncomfortable.
To accomplish things we need to challenge ourselves. Challenge is the opposite of comfort. This is a difficult balance because what is challenging for one may not be for another and what was challenging yesterday may not be challenging enough today. Through hunger we access our fat stores and get fed. Through cold our body generates heat. By breaking our muscles they grow stronger. By looking to the sun our eyes and skin adjust. Learning to hold your breath increases the expression of oxygen in the body. So much of health is now going the direction of increased sensitivity instead of more of the thing itself. Nature says use it or loose it. be uncomfortable. The balance is knowing how to challenge yourself without going to far and injuring yourself with cold or hunger or exercise. All this applies to our brain and to our thoughts. Only you know what is optimal discomfort. Pushing yourself but not too far. it is when we are comfortable that we rust. So if you are feeling stuck challenge yourself. It doesn't matter how just start and do a little bit more every day of anything you want more of. Realize this is already happening. If you practice eating to much you get fat if you practice thinking negatively you will grow negativity in your brain. Own your life. Resist the temptation to push yourself too hard so that you will crash and not be able to continue. Ride this wave. get out of your comfort zone and play the slow game. it is about the process not the destination. Time will increase the difficulty as you move forward in it. Return to nature. Connect with the subtle art of discomfort- get cold- get hungry- get sore- breath and hold your breath just not for too long or too much. How much only you know., Being honest with your self about what you can and can not do is up to you. You can find out through trial and error. It is never too late. I spent most of my life being comfortable, I got rusty and it got boring. The game is to see what you can do. Do your best. find out what you are made of of. Do all this for yourself. Do it naturally and resist the urge to cheat... The game is against yourself so cheating will not help you.
