Orthomolecular Fasting9/29/2019 I have changed my tune about the consumption of Ascorbic acid vitamin C. I now encourage everyone to take several grams in divided doses through out the day. Why the change? In the modern age the frequency environment is shaking electrons off our quantum inner bodies causing free radicals to destroy our health. This along with all other forms of stress from chemicals or even emotional stress all lead to increased oxidation and the ability for vitamin c to donate its electron to defuse this the free radical is key. Free radicals are missing an electron so vitamin C can be an amazing tool in the war for health. Orthomolecular medicine is a form of alternative medicine that aims to maintain human health through nutritional supplementation. The concept builds on the idea of an optimal nutritional environment in the body and suggests that diseases reflect deficiencies in this environment. (Saul AW; Hoffer A (2008). Orthomolecular Medicine For Everyone: Megavitamin Therapeutics for Families and Physicians" The use of high dose vitamin C has been shown to aid in numourous illnesses when given in high enough doses. In the same way that if some one shoots 20 bullets at you but your shield only blocks 10 of them your dead, this doesn't mean the shield didn't work it just wasn't big enough. With many health issues the vitamin C works but the does is not big enough. I suggest everyone get themselves to bowl tolerance with vit C and then take at least 5-10 grams a day depending on stress, illness or tolerance. I'm not going to dive too deep into what vit C does but check out some of these great minds for more info. Andrew Saul, Dr Levy, Doris Loh, Linus Pauling When I was younger I was under an extreme amount of stress and found myself, after having tried a cigarette completely in love. I became a very heavy smoker. One after another with no regrets because I simply couldn't function neurologically without the nicotine. After years of trying to quite I found myself as the house parent to sixteen teen age addicts at a facility and they could not smoke. I didn't want to be a hypocrite as they would have known 100 miles away if I had smoked so after years of trying to quite I really set out to finally break up with my love, cigarettes. I was also trying to get in shape at the time an a guy at a local supplement shop told me to take niacin as a prework out. I had never tried it or heard of it. I took it and turned bright red but my struggling brain started to click like I had smoked a cigarette and then my friendship with niacin began. I never got addicted to niacin like cigarettes but I did take very high doses for years and still take low doses through out the day. I did quite smoking. It's been something like 12 years now. I didn't know niacin is chemically nicotinic acid. I believe that smokers are niacin deficient and the nicotine will meet the need for niacin but is toxic and a constrictor where niacin is a nutrient and a dilator. As a a smoker I always knew that I would need to dose my cigarettes over time as the body does not make or store nicotine. Higher the stress higher the dose. The same is true for niacin. If you ever wonder why some people only smoke cigarettes when they drink, this is because when they drink they get neuro toxic enough to burn through their niacin reserves and then they can smoke but in normal life the niacin is in place so no need to smoke. People like me burn through niacin fast so it has to be taken multiple times through out the day. I am a big fan of intermittent fasting (eating in a fixed window of time example 6 hours and fasting the other 18 hours of the day)
I'm not going to get into this too much but have lots of information on the site if you interested. (Intermittent Fasting) I currently use intermittent fasting on my non lifting days as I am trying to gain strength but not get fat and it seems to be working well. So what do vit c, niacin and Intermittent fasting have in common. Both vit c and Nicain are non caloric and during my fasts I continue to take both of these substances. The vit C is not competing with sugar and providing valuable donated electrons for the toxin neutralizing benefits and other benefits it provides and the niacin boost the circulation to allow the circulation of vit C as well as allowing my brain to stay alert. I call this Othomolecular Fasting I have been doing it for some time now and I have seen far more benefits in how I feel mentally, my recovery from exercise and a general sense of well being that I can't quite explain. The proper dosing of vit c and niacin in a fasted state has been a wonderful tool. Many people get deficient in water soluble vitamins during fasting, they feel toxic and sluggish. Many make the mistake of relying on caffeine to get them through. I am fully caffeine free and my nervous system and general energy are operating at a very high level. The removal of caffeine and the addition of vit C and niacin in a fasted state is the key. Try this out but give it some time as meeting your deficiencies will take time. I suggest also adding in Alpha Lipoic Acid which is a powerful fat/water soluble anti oxidant that has the rare quality of being better absorbed through supplement than through food as heat is alters it. ALA is best taken on an empty stomach so a fasted state is great. Taking some l- carnatine is also a good idea for shuttling fat into the mitochondria for fuel. Toy around with adding any sups that are non caloric. Magnesium is also a good idea. I know that the addition of these substances, even though they don't break a fast may alter some of the fasting benefits as your system will still be processing substances but it is great to have both standard water fasting and othomolecular fasting as tools at your disposal. In the modern age we need to consume far more of these substances and far less food. Othomolecular fasting is the key to accomplishing amazing health. Try it for yourself and please Contact Me with your questions or feedback.

One Year Of Blogs Is Enough9/5/2019 After careful consideration I have decided to step away from doing a weekly blog. After completing the one year blog I have realized that I have put out a good message. Reject tech and embrace nature. Get a magnetico, get off addictive substances and learn. I am proud of the info I have put out. I am finding that I am repeating myself as the message is simple and rarely implemented. I do plan on going back through and highlighting some of the blogs and fine tuning them. This will allow me to get off of facebook as I find the platform to be more and more ridiculous. I am very grateful for some of the great content I have been exposed to. There is now a numbered index page if you would like to go back and check out some of the blogs you may have missed. I am grateful for the people who have read the blog and for being part of my process. I will post the occasional blog as I continue in my process.
