Blind Spots In Health
There are 2 major schools of thought in the world of health: mainstream and alternative. In the mainstream school of thought, pharmaceuticals are the primary solution to most health ailments. Most alternative health advocates think Pharma is big business and largely evil. While I largely agree with this premise, I also view this through an economic lens. Why is it set up this way? Drugs cost money and have a massive amount of liability. No business can spend money to test a product and carry the risk for a product that they can't patent and standardize. Without a patent, it would be like buying a house anyone off the street could walk into. The standardization piece is the idea that any drug is absolutely the same no matter where you take it or where it comes from. These limitations make preventative medicine a poor option for generating profit.
Now lets look at the alternative health side. Alternative health is largely unregulated and is also based on generating profit (as much as people might like to think it's purely altruistic). I worked in the supplement field for years and by the end of it, I felt like a big pharma salesmen disguised as a hippy. Alternative health products are looking to make money just like any other business. They have to keep cranking out new stuff, new packaging, etc. every quarter in order to stay relevant. Many of the companies are using trash studies, trash ingredients, or simply have no idea or don't care that their products are useless and in many cases unhealthy. Several times I confronted alternative health company executives about inaccurate and dishonest product advertising. Some executives acknowledged my concerns as valid but did nothing to correct it. Another (one of which I was working for as a research consultant) threatened me with legal action. It's all about money and perception. Feel-good supplement companies are really no different than Big Pharma. I currently consume very few supplements. After moving to the midwest from CA, I see many of the trends that were popular in CA 5 years ago popping up in the midwest as a great new health trend (i.e. juicing, red light therapy, natropathy, muscle testing, etc). I can't help but smile when I think about how ridiculous many of them are. Alternative health (like mainstream health) also struggles with factors like location and seasons. True health is directly tied to nature and cycles.
I researched and tested so many health trends over the years both while I was working in the alternative health industry and since. I have had some terrible experiences with supplements, fake guru's, chiropractors, muscle testers and beyond. So many "quantum" devices plugged into A/C wall pugs promising health because they play soothing sounds and vibrate. I recently heard a local alternative health practitioner explaining how her tech bed is the only one in the country with specific frequencies. She has no idea how it works, but said it "exercises the cells." Cells don't "exercise". So many terms like "quantum, resonance, full-spectrum, transform, embody, harmonize...etc." are thrown around in the marketing of these devices to help make them appear relevant.
Ok, all that was said to get you comfortable with the idea that everything has pros and cons. In my last blog post I explained what I was learning and experiencing regarding oxalate. I on a carnivore diet, which is a no-oxalate diet. The only deviation is hot chocolate with powered cacao and butter in the morning. I have this almost every day because it is something I get to look forward to and it helps keep oxalate dumping symptoms from being so severe. As long as I keep my oxalate significantly below what my body can process out daily, my residual oxalate levels will continue to decrease.
I have not had any kidney pain in weeks. I feel strong, clear, and amazing. I am so surprised after being in the alternative health world focused on plants as food & medicine to realize plants are not only unnecessary, but in many cases contributing to gradual toxic overload. I went to the dentist 3 months ago and they were concerned with deep gum pockets and excessive gum bleeding, so they recommended I come back in 3 months. As you'll know if you've read my previous blogs, I have had some severe dental issues (oral spirochetes and metal amalgam poisoning). I went back a couple weeks ago after about 6 weeks on the carnivore diet and my dentist could not believe the difference. The dentist was amazed. I explained I hadn't eaten any plants or carbs of any kind for over a month and the hygienist immediately said "well there are other factors"....but I know I've done nothing different besides the diet. I am experiencing some truly amazing health changes. I don't think a carnivore diet is for everyone but I am most excited about shedding the oxalate. I do believe in general people should eat less plants in the winter and more in the summer which matches what is naturally seasonally available. I personally need a longer oxalate-free season because I have been on a high-oxalate diet for over 40 years and have symptoms of heavy oxalate detox.
Mainstream medicine doesn't like anything it can't test. It relies heavily on blood and urine tests. For most of my life I was metal poisoned from amalgam dental fillings. My childhood dentist lost his license for doing unnecessary procedures like filling a children's mouths full of metal fillings just to bill insurance and get paid (but this is another story). The point is that metal accumulation in the body can't be measured. This makes it a blind spot in modern medicine. Alternative health also can't measure it and the only real way to measure it is to monitor symptoms. When I was eating a high-oxalate vegan diet for several years, much of the "detoxing" I was doing was really just symptoms of a toxic diet that was destroying my health.
It is important to understand the concept of toxicity accumulation in the body. It's obvious when someone accumulates fat, because we can visually see the change. You don't have to test someone for fat gain when you can see it plain as day. I was a fat person for much of my life. What is this process of fat accumulation? Simple: a person takes in more calories/food than they expend. It would be ridiculous to ask a doctor to test our blood or urine to tell us if we are fat. The issue with metal and oxalate accumulation is you cannot see it like you can see fat. In other words, overweight individuals are highly likely to have metal and/or oxalate accumulation in conjunction with high body fat, but individuals who are not overweight can still and often do have metal and oxalate accumulation as well.
An interesting point about accumulation of toxins in the body is that a fat body may help to diversify the oxalate that has built up in the system. A person can loose fat eating a high oxalate diet and end up with serious oxalate toxicity in a skinny body. Losing the fat, if done unwisely can result in even worse health. The same concept is true for metals and this happened to me when I lost my weight. It is important to make health the focus and not just fat loss.
It is important to note that aging is a reduction in electro-magnetic charge potential that then diminishes the functionality of the bodies systems and in turn results in higher accumulation of substances like metals and oxalate which then reduces charge potential and on it goes. If you can intervene in this process then it can greatly slow aging and biological decline.
I fought and overcame my battle with metal accumulation. The Magnetico sleep pad has been hugely helpful, but mainstream and alternative health, many supplements, and muscle testing did nothing for me. Now I am fighting my battle with oxalate. Do you have massive amounts of oxalate build-up causing health issues like I did? There's no way to test it and the alternative health world will tell you to consume massive amounts of plant super-foods that contain dangerous oxalate levels in the form of juices, plants, smoothies, powders, nut milks and flours, supplements and beyond. The alternative health world is pushing many of these products, not Big Pharma. The secret to detoxing oxalate accumulation is to stop consuming more than your body can process out. Your body will naturally do the rest. Since oxalate is a toxin, it is always trying to rid itself of it.
I have tried it all and find it almost comical that all it took was eating meat, eggs, raw yogurt, cheese, fish, bacon and nothing else for me to thrive. I was extremely sick and unhealthy as a vegan. The sad thing is that perhaps despite the general intentions, the alternative health world is pushing so many food and health products they don't really understand, and they don't want to because these products are good for profit. You don't need a muscle test to tell you if spinach is bad or not. Its one of the highest oxalate foods and it is toxic. To put it into perspective, half a cup of cooked spinach has over 750 mg oxalate and the normal daily oxalate range for someone who isn't already oxalate toxic is 125-200 mg oxalate max. Mainstream medicine can't measure oxalate and alternative health can't stop selling it.
I am quickly coming to the conclusion that health may be far more simple than we thought. The main change it requires from modern thought is a mental shift. I used to walk into the produce section of the grocery store and look at all the colors and plants with wonder. Trust me, I lived and breathed alternative health for many years and wasted tons of money on stuff that only damaged my health further. Lucky for me, I can measure my oxalate detoxing through my kidney pain. Never ask someone who makes a living selling a product if their product is dangerous. I'm not saying that everyone has oxalate over-accumulation, but I think many of the people heavily invested in alternative health are consuming massive quantities of "super foods" believing there is no downside whatsoever, and often telling others to do the same. No one should consume more than 250 mg of oxalate in a day (because the kidneys can only process out about 25 mg/day and you absorb around 10% of the oxalate you consume). I wish someone had told me about this back when I was a suffering as a vegan. Hopefully this information is helpful for you on your journey.
It's been a while. Nice to see you again. I have been busy here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with business projects. On the health front I have also continued to fine-tune things I began to sort out for myself back when I was writing these blogs regularly. I believe now more than ever in the relationship between location and seasons regarding health.
I now live in an area with 4 distinct seasons, and recently it's been blow zero temperatures. I am currently eating a high fat carnivore diet. Taking seasons and light cycle changes into account allows us to avoid black & white thinking of absolutizing certain diets year-round. I have spent so much time thinking about light, seasons and the use of glucose and ketones as fuel. I'm a high fat carnivore right now because of where I am and what season it is. I like eating this way very much and have been doing intermittent fasting as well. During intermittent fasting periods, I have been experiencing kidney pain. I enjoy eating keto and carnivore, but in the past it has consistently caused kidney pain.
The first time I had kidney pain was about 13 or 14 years ago when I did a 10 day water fast. The fast changed my life (that's also another blog). I didn't want to stop but as the days went on I started to get kidney pain. I ended up having kidney stones on both sides and couldn't urinate. I had to break the fast and take stone breaker supplements. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced. I spent 12 hours on the floor weeping and vomiting. I didn't understand at the time why I got stones. About a year later I got in a car accident and had x-rays taken. No damage from the car accident but the doctor pointed out in surprise that many of my arteries were visible on the x-ray. It was hard to believe my eyes but there they were, showing up like bones. They were extremely calcified and this was a huge red flag for me.
I went off my vegan diet (of about 2+ years) and about a year later had x-rays taken again and my arteries were no longer visible. At the time I wasn't aware that this was likely due to the diet change as I had done other things to detox from metal filling poisoning (DMSA and magnetico sleep pad) but it scared me very much and I read several books on calcification. Now I'm very healthy (haven't been sick once in years) but getting kidney pain after going carnivore with intermittent fasting. So this begged the question...why!? When I got kidney stones the first time I was fasting as a full vegan. I was juicing all the time and living on nuts and greens. I was very sick, but the vegan guru I followed ensured me this was just because my body was detoxing. I eventually couldn't take the suffering any more and went back to eating first eggs, then turkey, and finally pork and red meat again. My health dramatically improved overnight, but now I'm seasonally carnivore and having kidney pain. What was the missing link? Oxalate build-up.
After some digging I was lucky enough to stumble upon Sally K Norton, who just wrote a book Toxic Superfoods. What are toxic super foods? Plants with high oxalate levels. Oxalates bind to minerals like calcium. If you consume more Oxalte than your body can expel, it gets stored in the body. I'm over-simplifying this because I just listened to the audiobook and recommend checking having a listen yourself. If you are a superfood eater that isn't getting the health results you'd hoped, this information could really help you.
In general, nuts, beans, some leafy greens, root veggies, and ......chocolate (which I live for) are all very high in oxalates. A vegan diet is typically a very high oxalate diet and that is why I had become so calcified. Foods from animals like dairy and meat have zero oxalates. Every time I cut out high oxalate foods by fasting or going carnivore or keto, my body is able to shed some of the oxalate build-up and that's why my kidneys back up, even though I feel so good otherwise. This is why it's wise to ease into any type of carnivore diet or fasting routine.
I am so grateful I found this information as it answered this lingering, nagging question. It revealed what I needed to take my health to the next level. I was able to successfully detox from heavy metal poisoning using the Magnetico Sleep Pad, but this information will enable me to now detox from oxalate build-up. What do I personally need to change? My addiction to dark chocolate (which I looked at as a "healthy" indulgence prior to this knowledge) will have to go. My relationship with nuts is also going to change drastically. It explains so much about my calcification issues. Since I saw those x-rays years ago I have been paranoid about strokes and heart attacks. I now have a useful understanding of calcium oxalate and how it builds up in the body and can contribute to life threatening events.
Mainstream medicine hates everything it can't test. I ran into the same problems with metal toxicity. Blood and urine tests don't tell you anything about oxalate that is built up in the body, and can only reveal how much oxalate is currently being expelled . The kidneys are just the exit, but what about everywhere else?
I have drastically shifted my diet to cleanse the oxalates. There are no oxalates in animal products and that is why carnivore is triggering this release. I will continue this diet until my kidney symptoms are gone. Oddly enough, I have to consume a small amount of oxalate each day in order to slow the shedding process so it isn't so painful or drastic on my system.
I will give updates on my progress as it sounds like others who have done the same have had astounding results. The negative health effects of oxalate build-up are very broad. It ties into everything from mitochondrial damage to arterial plaque, and so much more. It reminds me of metal toxicity in that it is a similar type of toxic build-up. I strongly encourage you to read the book Toxic Superfoods. Don't just search oxalates online as it will only lead to lots of mainstream kidney info. It isn't that the information isn't true, but it's where the story ends, not where it starts. You will need to understand the full story and its origins in order to heal your body of oxalate build-up.
I am so happy to finally understand why my super-food vegan phase made me so sick. I see that being told it was all because I was "detoxing" was completely incorrect. I was being poisoned by oxalate overload. Oxalate has many purposes in plants including acting as a toxin for self-defense. I highly recommend you learn more about this, especially if you have dieted in an effort to improve your health but not received the fruits of your hard work and discipline. If you are someone with metal toxicity, low mitochondrial function, obesity or any number of preexisting health issues, they likely contribute being prone to heightened oxalate build-up. If you are healthy then this info is good to be aware of as you age but may not require any detox or low oxalate diet.
Also, Please reach as out I would love to re-connect if we have lost touch. Angela says "Hi".
I think that there is a zero point behind everything in the universe and that everything that exists in a positive or negative number expression off of that point. This is one way to look at it if you think that math is the universal language of the divine. For example, 1 or -1 or .0097434 -.0097434 etc. There are infinite potential expressions and each one can have a positive or negative value. Each number is connected by the infinite divisions in between them.
In this sense everything that exists has the potential expression of a positive or negative value and also everything that exists has a cost which inevitably leads back to zero. This is karma; the idea that all actions have a cost, a reactionary value that is balanced out, the push and the pull. In this way, evil is typically the ignorance of the equal cost of the action or the conscious acceptance of that cost to achieve whatever goal the negative action entails.
Everything has a cost, both doing and not doing, and in a strange sense everything continues to be expressed regardless. We can be grateful that we weren't the ones that had to express this or that negative thing, learning from others mistakes. In a sense every time a person lies, whether they get caught or not, there is a cost; the person loses the ability to trust. This is the karmic cause and effect of the universe. There are no cheats. Ignorance is no excuse because the consequences always come. The universal law doesn't care if the action has intent or not, if it was done consciously or not. As people we tend to personalize our actions, but they are no more personal than any other natural cause and effect. We aren't offended when we see a rock that has been eroded by water. We do not say that the water was evil for doing such a thing. We simply recognize that this is what happens when one thing clashes with another long enough. The physical world is just a metaphor for concepts as everything that exists is mind.
This is absolute accountability with consciousness and wisdom as the highest goals. Christian theology has saturated the western world. Not the good parts, not the renunciation of physical and carnal desire as a trade for spiritual desire. Instead the part that made it so successful; the forgiveness part. The part that says you help but sin and when you do sin you can be saved & forgiven by a blood sacrifice ritual. (I won't get into the part about how a loving, all powerful god wouldn't likely require blood to solve problems)
In truth, there is cause and effect and there is no escape from the truth of cause and effect, the karmic idea of absolute accountability. Instead of being forgiven you are trapped with the pain of the ignorant choice and that is exactly what is supposed to keep you form repeating the negative action over and over again. The brain is programed with rewards and punishments. The negative responses to things are supposed to keep us from doing negative things and vice versa. All our drugs are designed to hack this pain/information system.
So be aware that everything has a cost. A water erodes stone over time. There is no need for forgiveness instead it is a simple reality. The point is to learn. It isn't good or bad. You get what you give. Everyone gets exactly what they deserve.
Own your life.
I See Your Point
"I see your point, it makes perfect sense why you would think that. I'm not surprised and wouldn't expect you to think anything differently. I also totally disagree. "
Years ago I developed a model that basically states that practically and logical consistency are oppositional concepts. It was a good model and of coarse I've been trying to find a way to have both ever since. I have failed completely but at least the model was solid.
I have recently watched these four movies....and my head is spinning. I have been living a mortal life for a few years now.
I used to live in my head. It was my kingdom, I was a superhero, my ideas where my identity. In the world out side I walked around as Bruce Wayne but in my head I was Batman but much like the batman I suffered from loneliness. The full knowledge that no one can ever see inside my head where the real me lives.
This set of media along with life happening, where I find myself getting so far away from the gnostic monk super hero I once was is causing me to think. Of coarse when I think like this I blog. When I need a container for my thoughts to keep them from swirling around in my head.
So here is a quick breakdown of these 4 movies.
The Batman- an overall good movie with some annoying modern propaganda sown into it. But the riddler character was interesting. I often find modern villains that expose corruption but use violence to establish justice are interesting. It raises that question about ethics and what is good or bad. The blurred line between hero and villain.
I had seen this before in this story the hero is the justice seeker who is using violence unlike The Batman which I'm guessing the Batman would have tried to stop V. So the contrast between the two movies is very interesting and shows how we ask the movie early on to tell us who to root for.
Besides The Fountain this is the most impactful movie I have ever seen. I have to watch it again. Profound, brilliant and at one point I almost had to shut it off because I could hear my own ego getting angry with it's message. The fight that I put to the side. The enemy I stopped battling because challenging the ego takes so much mental margin that there is no way to do it and be anything that resembles a decent husband or father. I took the battle as far as I could at the time. I knew that the real chalange was in the practicle and I have not found a way to pull that victory out of my head into the material world and that makes me so frustrated. I don't know if it can be done. Budda left. Anyway, this movie shook me up. It reminded me of the path I used to walk.
I am left thinking (to the religious) there is a good chance the that your ego is pretending to be God inside your head.
And this one, I've been trying to find time to watch this. David Bazan was an evangelical christian who was a popular musician and then renounced his Christianity. He struggles with drinking and trying to figure out how to reconcile the ideas on heaven, hell and everything in between. I am now back living in a place where Christianity is prevalent and I see that because I have studied it I know it's problems it seems so ridiculous and at the same time it's familiar nature feels like home. I am going back to Rochester this summer and it is forcing me to deal with these old thoughts. My parents are having a party at the church and inviting the church and it's basically to show off that I am no longer a punk and have a wife and kid.
These are little peaces of thoughts. You see I made the wonderful mistake of structuring my thought process as a fractal so I my brain is building a knowledge base that has no separate categories. Everything is interconnected and as I build it my ability to communicate it is reduced with every step forward I take.
The physical aspects of the brain still need to repair and recharge. I'm in a place mentally that can be described as a tolerance problem. When I was an alcoholic I found a way to optimally build tolerance but the biology still hit it's capacity in terms of the amount of liquid I could process. In this way I have lopped back to practicality and have tried to keep learning and trying to continue to interact with people and not get frustrated because it is so difficult to not reference the topics that I am focused on that are not commonly discussed.
I can't really blog anymore because there is no way to give context to the thoughts as there is too much back story. Much like when you speak to someone once a week you have a weeks worth of things to discuss but if you speak once a month, or once a year it quickly becomes never because it would take far too much time to catch up on all the things that have happened.
I go back to the blogs and they make me happy, some do, others make me cringe and I'm tempted to delete stuff but then I would have no reference which the point of the blog was to give me a though process reference.
In any case, I encourage you to watch Revolver and see if his battle becomes yours for an instant in the elevator. See if you struggle with the realization that the voice in you head and also the one listing to it are both you and also aren't.
Sorry this is so choppy, which is how I feel most of the time when I try to communicate without my persona on. I have a decent character to present in my normal interactions. I can't exactly shut off the program that I started and I see that it will continue to make things hard on me because I can still only say one word at a time even if I have several interconnected thoughts flowing through my head.
I will say that I seem to be able to understand others and at the same time my understanding of them comes with the understanding that I can't change them.
Chronos Rules The Physical Realm
Gods are archetypes. In the same way that words are containers for meaning and nothing more, the concept of God or gods are containers for concepts or a concept. This in no way removes their power, since everything that has been perceived or invented here comes from a concept.
Math is universal, but the languages math uses to be explained change. The number 1 exists but is spoken one, uno, or by many other names. Archetypes are real but the names of these archetypes change in different locations and cultures. If you absolutize the name you use for god, then you are missing the point. This is no different than insisting that 1 is only the value of 1 if it is spoken in your language. This notion is based in ego, and it is why whenever someone says the word "god" to me I ask "which one?".
Chronos, the Greek god of time is an archetype that shows itself in many places. The grim reaper, father time, and even Santa Claus. I also see it in modern mythology through Dr. Manhattan (The Watchmen). The Roman god Saturn is where Saturnalia comes from. This was the holiday that was eventually changed to Christmas. Saturn is still worshiped everywhere you see a black cube (graduation, Mecca, etc), or the black robe (on every judge). Rings are also Saturn symbols because the planets are tied to gods. The Saturn archetype seems to find itself expressed everywhere you look.
One place I see some of the most obvious Saturn archetype references is in the god of the Old Testament. I was raised Christian and was never okay with the god of the Old Testament, but according to Christians he knows your thoughts and I always thought being an all-powerful deity that needs blood sacrifice and worship with the threat of eternal damnation was a problem.
In Greek mythology Chronos is where we get the word chronological time. The Greek god eats his children and in Christian mythology the god of the Old Testament kills his child as a blood sacrifice to allow ascendance into heaven. The concept of heaven is a good place but also a place that is not ruled by time, meaning no death.
All archetypes, like everything else have a positive and negative side, even if one aspect is dominant. In other words, your right hand still has a left side. I could write a book about why worshiping these types of archetypes is a problem but the point of this blog is to draw attention to the concept of time as an archetype. We know that there are at least two levels of existence happening simultaneously: what is inside your head and what is outside your head. Both are subject to time and time operates in cycles. Know the cycles and you will know the time and if you know the time and submit to it you will survive because Chronos rules the physical realm.
For physical health, paying attention to light cycles is essential. Light cycles are the tools that Chronos uses to rule. If you submit you will live but if you deny these natural cycles you will get consumed by Chronos. Similarly, it is important for us to tune into other cycles that are all around us. I have made a case that the most important cycle to be aware of is the natural cycle of the magnetosphere that is currently at a very low point. If you think of cycles as sin wave patterns, we are currently in the trough of the earth's magnetic cycle. Knowing this cycle allows you to see why the world is in the state it is in, where we came from, and where we are going.
There are cycles within cycles within cycles. You must stop and tune into the cycles that are inside your body and outside your body. Once you see exactly what time it is, you will have to accept this or be eaten by Chronos (or be hung on a cross). Humbled by time while knowing that the timeless part of you that is not physical and therefore not ruled by Chronos. This part is simply waiting patiently, learning while it sits in the prison cell of the body.
Patience is the only way to truly overthrow Chronos. You cannot defeat Chronos while residing in a physical body. So just wait; there will be a time when you look back on this moment. Maybe you will see the positive or the negative side of it all, but either way it will be seen as a marker in time; a memory. Memory can be lost from consciousness, but memories still follow us like something that has left your vision but is still there, lingering in your midst.
If you don't see the black cube (saturn) symbolism everywhere I suggest you look into it.
There is too much info to put out about this
The this video has (chVrches) saying "I'm feeling capable of saying it over"
There is no way to understand the world, history or any of the systems that we live in without looking into the force with many names
Simplicity Has A Cost
I have lost interest in supplements, bio-hacking and so many alt-health concepts that I was once preoccupied with. The studies of many of the health products and ideas that are now popular do not take factors such as environment, location, light, technology, etc into account when drawing conclusions.
I did worked in the supplement industry for many years, so I was constantly pitched all the latest & greatest products. I still take a few key supplements, so I won't throw the baby out with the bath water, but there is so much bath water. I don't miss working in the supplement industry, when I left I found it to be downright gross and full of misinformation.
Leaving CA over a year ago allowed me to simplify my life in many ways. I take daily walks with my dog in the sunshine every morning. I listen to Alan Watts. My wife and I have been able to garden and I really appreciate eating food right off my plants. We have more cucumbers than we know what to do with, cabbage, tomatoes, and more. Our blueberry bushes are still babies but they still produced some delicious berries. We have apple trees and our pumpkin patch is out of control. We also managed to get fresh eggs which has been a fun experience. We are still enjoying the raw milk, beef and sausage from our local farmer.
Angela has mastered the art of sourdough bread baking. She also makes raw yogurts from our milk that I eat each morning with with steal cut oats.
I am a realtor now and really enjoying what I do. We were recently able to purchase some land near our home. We got 7.5 acres of land that's partly cleared, partly wooded with a southern facing hill and a good creek that flows year round. I saw some fish there fish yesterday. I enjoy going there to think like I used to at the creek running through San Luis Obispo, CA. We plan to use this land for plants, bees, maybe even some animals in the future. We are starting the process to add a well and septic. My primary goal is to one day put a log cabin on it and grow old.
I see the things that are happening in the world. The simple life has many costs. I enjoy the work it requires and am so glad to be where I am. Nothing is certain but I just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible to move. I have never been so healthy. There are no cheats in life, everyone has to earn the life they want or settle for the one they don't.
I have had several phases in my life and have not taken many relationships with me. I grew up in Rochester, NY until I was 18. I spent the next 10 years in Indiana where I finished college and was married. The next decade brought me to California where I went through a divorce and learned to be on my own. My 4th decade of life has landed me in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as a husband and parent to Angela and Caden.
These different phases seem so strange and sometimes I wonder how I got here as it seems like a dream. I was so different from who I am today in each prior decade of my life. After leaving CA I realized no one really noticed, and maybe that is why most people don't ever move away; they don't want to find out if they mattered or not. I don't do much social media these days, but if you are receiving, this we have likely crossed paths. Please feel free to reach out to me. I miss having deep conversations about health and life and all the rest.
Welcome To The Internet
I have written a massive amount of information on this blog site. Some of it is rather obscure so at this point I hope to keep it simple and offer up some simple truths and practical steps to try.
It's important to keep in mind that the long term agenda is trans-humanism (once the population is reduced down to the desired level of 500 million to 1 billion). This is essentially a merging of human biology with technology. Why is this the case? Control. The best slaves are the ones that think they are free. Freedom under conditions is simply enslavement. Free speech unless you say something offensive is a simple example of this and we are seeing it play out now.
Nano tech, Musk's neural links, and virtual reality spaces are all forms of trans-humanism. Technology advertised for health monitoring benefits can actually be used for health control. I could go on and on about this but ultimately the 5g and vaccine agendas are both tied to trans-humanism. Unless you want to be a guinea pig for this potentially disastrous agenda, do not get vaccinated under any circumstances. These new mRNA vaccines contain nano-tech substances such as hyrdo-gel that will require regular booster shots, which will actually be software updates (no different than required periodic updates for a computer or cell phone). In time, your biology right down to the cellular and DNA levels will be owned because they'll contain patented products. It is likely that the nano-tech distorts a person's magnetic field and essentially turns them into an EMF transmitter, like an antennae for tech. At some point in the near future, "vaccination passports" will be required to travel and attend social activities.
If you have not already moved out of the cities and especially the states of CA and NY, now is the time to do so with urgency. Become as self-sufficient as possible and make it a priority to learn skills that will help you increase your independence from this house-of-cards system. This is easier said than done because we are at a point where not opting for convenience is very costly. Unplug from the net and remove wifi from your home environment. Embrace natural food and living. Do not get caught up in a polarized, divide and conquer mentality that consumes so many people. It is more important than ever to remain calm and centered. Many who know about what's going on are frantic and angry; working against their desired outcomes.
Tempting as it may be, do not look to an external savior. Religion and the "Jesus is coming back to fix everything" mentality keeps people from having personal responsibility for their own lives. Remove addictions. This includes alcohol, drugs, weed, caffeine, processed food, sugar, porn, TV, social media, etc. It is crucial that you are clear-headed. Like it or not, we are all living in an increasingly toxic EMF soup (to some degree or another, depending on where you live). This toxic EMF environment exacerbates any existing addictions exponentially and also creates a dopamine-driven feedback loop that can cause you to feel rewarded when engaging in destructive, addictive behavior.
Can you walk the narrow path? Can you reject scientific atheism for a Gnostic perspective that sees gods and devils as archetypes? Can you look inside yourself for salvation. Can you make the sacrifices needed to reject the appeal of the trans-humanist agenda? Can you see the pluses and minuses of all positions and not get polarized? One way or another, you'll find out eventually in this life. Very few can.
The world is drunk and easily controlled. The material world is a big casino. It can not be saved or fixed because it is designed to keep you here. You are here to learn how to leave or to stay repeating the same addictive behavior over and over until you've had enough. Leaving this realm is the narrow path. Religion, technology, politics, government all keep the game here going.
Remember, there is an equal and opposite cost for every choice and even refusing to make a choice. Look into yourself to discover what you are really drawn to. When you see the sun setting don't just stand there screaming at the sun for leaving. Wisdom is knowing when night is coming. It will be cold. Go get your jacket.
My Healthy Home (pics and tips)
I moved last summer from the Central Coast of CA to Ironwood, MI. Since then my life has become more simplified, which was my goal. I have never been so healthy. In the past I was into various health hacks and gimmicks. The truth is there are no cheats (except one) that I know of that truly work. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all hacks, but this is what I do in my location. What you do to optimize your situation should be different depending on your current health, location, environment, etc, but hopefully this blog will give you some ideas that may be relevant to you and your situation.
This is my cozy little house. I was careful to get a home that wasn't bigger than we really needed, since heating can be costly and cumbersome in such a cold climate with long winters and we don't enjoy tending to unused space. I do cryotherapy and cold adaptation with HITT training in the winter.....often in the form of shoveling snow. While most of my neighbors push or drive snow blowers around to do all the work for them, I prefer to use my environment as a means to condition my body. Yes, it takes more time and effort, but for me the benefits outweigh the costs as I am better cold-adapted and in better shape because of it.
This is our back yard our yard. The plots on our street are each a half acre or more. We enjoy having neighbors nearby, but also value a big yard for our pup to run around in. There was no fence when we moved in. We could have hired a fence company to install one, but again, I decided to dive into my new environment and do it myself over the warm summer months. It required a lot of grueling physical labor and creativity to design it according to our needs, but it was a great source of exercise for several weeks and felt good to accomplish such a large task with my bare hands.
We get raw milk from a local farmer each week. We make primarily raw yogurts and shakes with it. It has been the best immunity booster I have ever had. The 3 of us usually get a cold each season when winter sets in, but not this year and I attribute it primarily to the raw milk. Raw milk and pasteurized dairy are not at all the same thing. Raw milk still has an array of natural, beneficial bacteria in tact. Your microbiome is made of billions bacteria. It is a shame that such a minute percentage of contaminated or compromised dairy led to pasteurization of almost the entire dairy industry, since pasteurized dairy is not just devoid of any beneficial bacteria, it is harmful to your health. Anyways, I digress. We are extremely grateful to have access to whole, raw dairy.
In the back of the last photo, you may notice a jar of bacon grease. This is our primary cooking fat, along with grass fed butter. Next to it is a jar of Redmonds sea salt, another key to health. Salt and fat were foolishly demonized over the last 70 or so years, but I can say that our health has only improved since making them staples in our diet.
What we avoid in our diets altogether:
-No water-extracted caffeine (coffee or tea)
-No alcohol or other drugs of any kind (pharma or street)
We also get our beef from the farmer and bread from the local bakery, made fresh with minimal ingredients and no preservatives. Eating fresh, local and seasonal is key. We get eggs from our neighbors and plan on getting some chickens of our own in the spring.
We often use our wood burning stove to supplement heat in the winter. Chopping wood is a great workout too.
The supplements I take are basic:
-Vitamin C in large doses (ascorbic acid, nothing fancy- Perhaps I can explain why in another blog)
-Cod liver oil
-Beef liver capsules (grass fed)
Notice, these are all basically real foods (except maybe the vitamin C).
If I had to admit to one "vice" it would probably be dark chocolate. I eat the raw cacao kind daily. Yes, there is some caffeine in chocolate. However, there is also tons of magnesium, pyrroloquinoline quinone, and other beneficial minerals. I really enjoy chocolate, and since it is a food (and not a liquid caffeinated extract), it does not give me the anxiety or heart palpitations that I used to get from coffee.
We do not use wi-fi in our home. Our internet is wired in through Ethernet cables (we have adapters that hook into our computers and devices). It seemed slightly inconvenient at first, but we are used to it now and are happy to not be subjected by the constant bombardment of wi-fi signals in our home. Ironwood is a small, low-tech town. Our street is a few miles out of town and they haven't even come around to installing smart meters yet. We have already added ourselves to the opt-out list for if/when they come around to it.
There's Caden out in the front yard, playing in the snow. He's an extremely healthy and happy child, even during this pandemic.
Sleep is key. We have bedroom in the basement which makes it dark, cold and protected from frequency. I have never slept better in my life. Our bed is inclined, meaning the head of the bed is lifted 6". Look into inclined bed therapy if you're interested in learning about the benefits. We sleep on two 20 gauss Magnetico Sleep Pads. I have written a massive amount about Magnetico, so I'll leave it at that. What you see in the picture is a bed canopy that blocks emf. We purchased the fabric and had it custom made as many on the market do not do much.
The water is pretty clean here (it is worse in town, but luckily we are in the township which sources it's water differently). Angela went through great lengths to find an all glass Berkey filter. Plastics leech and it is important for water to be exposed to sunlight as water and light work together to create energy.
This is our happy pup. He's a miniature boxer (half boxer, half boston terrier). I take him for a walk every day no matter the weather. This has been a good way for me to get outside in nature every day, and he definitely needs the exercise too.
Our cat loves to sleep on the Magneticos. She often ventures down to our bedroom after we wake up to sleep on them for a few hours. She also likes to lie on my chest and purr while I pet her. A purring cat puts off some amazing, healing frequencies. They are hard not to love.
I also workout at a gym in town that was converted from an old auto body shop. I feel like Rocky. I just lift heavy. Most of the time it is empty so I can shut the lights off and turn the music up, which is great.
Hopefully this gives some insight into what I'm personally focused on health-wise these days. I could get into all the science behind each thing, but the truth is the location really makes all the difference. Being healthy in a big city, bathing in wireless frequency much like a smoker wearing an oxygen tank. Nature did it right and the simple things matter. I think having a wife, child, and animals has helped me to be more healthy as I am not so focused on myself.
The big things I suggest for anyone:
-Get a Magnetico Sleep Pad
-Eat local, seasonal and unprocessed food.
-Get in nature (barefoot and exposed to some sunlight when possible).
-Laugh often and sleep well (if you dream that's a good sign).
Avoid the news and all the crazy. Also avoid health gimmicks. There is so much hype out there just to make a buck.
Neurogenisis Vs. Depression Revisited
On 1-10-19, almost 2 years ago I wrote the first of a 4 part blog series called Neurogenesis vs Depression. A lot has changed for me as my wedding picture here shows.
I had struggled with depression in different ways and at different times throughout my life and at that time I was very alone but was having some very needed realizations. In the blog I was able to use some videos showing the brain forming new connections. The realizations I was having changed my brain and I can say even though I still have my bad days, my life is a 1000 times more happy and fulfilling than it was before this blog series. I believe that these realizations allowed me to fall in love and and be in a healthy relationship, as well as be a good parent to Caden (Angel's 6 year old).
I have not been putting out many blogs lately as my life has gotten very practical with my family and job taking up my thoughts. I also feel like I figured out a lot of things but I don't want to just repeat myself over and over with simple content as it is boring to me and probably my readers, like the youtube personalities that just talk about keto diets year after year.
In any case I wanted to come back to this series. The first blog has now been edited (thanks Angela) and I hope that you will take the time to take a look but also to share it with anyone who may be struggling with depression or addiction in these very strange times.
The other 3 parts will be edited and re-released soon.
Neurogenesis Vs Depression Part 1
There is no real way to know what another person's life experience is like inside their head. My life has been filled with a sense of waiting for something. In fact, I think that patience is possibly the most difficult skill to learn. It takes a long time to master patience.
I have been waiting for what I call "movie moments." A movie moment is unique and cannot be planned. It is one that is outside of my control, but seems to find me. It happens to me and when it is happening it feels bittersweet. I am sad knowing that it will end and simultaneously elated that it found me and I am in it. Much like the moment you realize you are dreaming and the realization leads to both appreciation and regret that waking will pull you out of that dream. As I write this I recognize that some of these moments don't end well, but still the chances of them happening are so rare that you have to appreciate them and smile. You can not force these moments they must come to you but you can increase the likelihood that one will happen. Much like hoping a bird will land in your hand. You can't force a bird to land, but it helps to carry around some bird seed.
Looking back on the movie moments I've had, there's something to knowing that I can't go back to the time that made those moments matter. They were innocent moments lost in time. This is not to say that my movie moments are gone forever but more to recognize that with age these movie moments become more reflective, like when you take the same walk every day but one day you feel compelled to stop and see what you have been walking past. All of sudden you are overcome with wonder, and then before you know it, you are back to walking just like always. When I was younger these moments were more rom-com stuff; awkward first kisses, or ex-girlfriends showing up in the park when you are sitting there daydreaming about her.
Sometimes I think human creativity is channeled instead of created. Coming up with a good idea is different than realizing that a story or a character wants to enter your story. I think of J.R.R. Tokien and The Lord of the Rings. He first seems to discover/create a language, then a unique people for his language, and before you know, it he has created entire cultures and an entire world with its own history.
The multiverse theory is one where there are infinite dimensions and infinite potential. In this case, tuning into creativity is like channeling a story, or something coming to you in a dream. This may be tuning into different inter-dimensional frequencies. Much like tuning the dial of a radio, the frequencies are there but the receiver isn't always picking them up. In this case, humans are receiver transmitters. Maybe we are entertained by stories. Maybe the stories we are most effected by are real, as in real like radio stations that are being tuned into. What if the quantum frequencies that surround us and are us create a sort of electro-magnetic ether, and we are tuned into one realm or level of that ether soup. What if at times we tune into other stations enough to see the archetypes and characters, but we filter it through our own lens. We take a glimpse into another dimension and then humanize it and create a story out of it. Maybe the imagination space is a quantum space where we can see things outside of the norm.
What if we are both watching and being watched but just like we don't watch every second of a sitcom, our watchers don't see every moment of our lives (like The Truman Show). What if we connect with our characters because it causes a feedback loop and in return they connect with us when we are observed. Maybe the movie moments of our lives are inter-dimensional scenes viewed by the very characters that we observe. Maybe because children have less hard-wired (more programmable) brains, they can tap into the imagination space better. Maybe people in altered states of consciousness can channel better as the radio dial in the brain is disrupted. Maybe some types of insanity is just as real as social reality. Maybe we each have our own reality to make sense of.....maybe.
Maybe not but it's a fun idea.
Carry around some bird seed with you. Today just might be the lucky day a bird will land in your hand .
