Home To Reframe12/6/2018 I'm going back to where I grew up. i leave tomorrow. I went for the first time in a long time and it was difficult but I think it was a major motivator in all the positive changes I have made this year. So its time to jump in the cold ocean again.
As a child everything seems bigger and parents aren't people but some other thing that is supposed to have everything figured out. I grew up in the city as a fat white kid it wasn't fun and I escaped into a TV screen and a bowl of ice cream. Have lots of hard memories from the years I spent there in the cloudy cold city of Rochester New York. Now living on the sunny central coast of California it gives me a chance to build up adult margin and go back to create new memories of the same places. Our brain only remembers the last time we remembered something so these updates are important for my sub conscious and conscious mind to defeat these old memories and replace them with victories. Who I became not who I was. I will add to this post as I go maybe during maybe after. What does this have to do with health? We carry around this old stuff in our brains and bodies. I am much lighter than the last trip I made in pounds no surprise. Off the face my demons...I know they were shadows all along.
