Ok here it is, I was just listening to a podcast Joe Rogan, who I've realized knows way less than we give him credit for but is still better than the alternatives to listen to. Two guys on the show one pro vegan, one pro meat. I thought it would be interesting as I was a fully indoctrinated vegan who was very sick and now am a meat eater and feel great but that's a different blog post. It was not interesting in fact it was really annoying to me. I don't fit because if you've looked at this site in terms of what i do neither one is talking to me I only eat 3 hours a day and neither one is talking about the importance of timing but that's also another blog post.
Humans are ego's....huge ego's. I don't pick sides in the polarized political issues because I see that each side is dumping fuel on the oppositions fire, that is also another blog. I am determined to get to my original thought, it's just so far off from the mainstream questions that I can't even figure out where to start but at least if I say it it will contribute to the universal consciousness that the internet brings so here I go. You may or may not believe in a god. I don't care. god has a psychological function of coarse my favorite phrase ever is - all brains are wired to choose function over truth- so the we were created to subdue nature is not true, but that's also another blog post.
Let me break the news to you with some high lighted truths
Nature doesn't care about humans
The earth doesn't need you anymore than you need the parasites in your gut
Everything in nature goes in cycles-
day/night, summer/ winter and so on
Cycles are the only way we tell time-
your brain needs to be dialed into natural time
Modern convinces allow us to remove natures cycles -
no night with fake light, no famine all harvest, no sleep with stimulants and on and on
Has a nutritional study ever factored in light?- not that I know of
Humans are basically mobil trees-
This is what I wanted to get to, trees have roots on the ground always and branches reaching toward the sun always but they can't move they have magnesium in the green blood. Humans have evolved to uproot and pull the branches down, we have stomach that lets us get fuel as a backup system while we are unplugged and then we are supposed to plug back in. We have iron instead of magnesium in the blood.
Why do we eat? To get electrons from food to convert to ATP (energy) in the mitochondria of our cells. Why do we eat so much? Because we aren't getting electrons from the sun or the ground because we don't ever plug back in. We are relying completely on the backup system. I'm no hippy, I grew up in the city and learned this lesson the hard way, too late in life.
In physics the trinity of life is light, water and magnetism-
Missing any one of these three = no life period
We talk so much about chemistry and know nothing about physics. No one understands my big orange glasses at the gym, no one understands my love for my magnetico sleep pad and no one understands why I am so focused on finding the best water (rxh2o.com)
I don't eat much and can't listen to vegans and meat eaters go back and forth when I know the whole conversation is so far behind.
Climate change is real, When has the climate not changed?
Without getting into the climate change debate let me ask is nature stable? No never- nature is cycles, nature is change. When is the last time you heard a person on either side of the climate change debate say the word magnetism? When have you heard anyone talk about the natural reduction in the earths magnetic cycle? What does magnetism do? Simply put it charges up the electrons that we take in to make energy. Higher unidirectional magnetism higher charge, more energy. Put rats in low magnetism and guess what they do, gorge themselves on food to try to make up the difference in electrons. They will gorge themselves on a vegan diet or a meat diet they have low charge and are trying to survive.
We are egotistical, out of touch with nature creatures and we will pay for our ignorance and nature will live on when we are gone. Cycles are all there are.
I have a page on this
So stop talking about climate change without recognizing that climate is change. Stop talking about what our ancestors ate without asking where they were and what time of year it was. Eskimo's and people at the equator eat very differently and they should.
And guess what told them what to eat....light, water and magnetism that's sun light in the season and location, everyone lived near water and the less light you had the more cold you were.
So here I am a relatively uneducated unknown grocery store worker telling you that the bigs in this country and this world are not willing to submit to nature, natural time and to look at physics. If coal is a problem (and I believe it is) is electric (emf- electromagnetic frequencies) the solution- no. It tampers with magnetism one of the parts of the trinity of life. Once 5g launches we will see. We are part of a big electronics experiment and I don't care to listen to well paid educated people talk about vegan vs meat when if everyone asked the simple question why do we eat? Humans would have a better chance.
The answer- we eat to get electrons from our stomaches when we are not plugged into the ground and the sun like the mobil trees that we are.
And yes electrons carry light and are literally bundles of energy that tell us what time it is in nature. If you submit to natural time you are healthy. If you are out of time with nature you die.
So just incase anyone whats to know the truth of human history or to see what the future holds, there it is.
Anyone who knows me knows I can't seem to have a conversation without talking about fractals. I'll leave that for another blog as the thought of it instantly made me look at the clock. I will say this there is you go a level lower- a piece of you say the brain or the heart, go lower there are brain cells, go a level lower and you have mitochondria in cells. What do mitochondria do? Without getting too sciency they convert physics into biochemistry or they covert light into you. For more on this see Quantum Health page. Through electron chain transfer they create ATP or energy.
You have the most mitochondria in the brain and the heart but other places too. Because mitochondria are several levels below (you, brain, cell, mitochondria) when your mitochondria are running at full power the cell, the brain, the you function.
If everyone treated their mitochondria it would be amazing how many illnesses would go away.
Things to do
-get your bare feet on the ground and you eyes and body in natural light
-get off junk carbs
- Try this supplement stack it's what I take for my mitochondria. Each sup aids a different part of the chain that creates atp, you don't know which you are missing out on so best to take them all
NAD - Benefits
-Get cold - jump in the ocean, ice baths whatever you can do to condense the mitochondria to generate more ATP
-get a magnetico sleep pad
There are many more things to do but this is a good start. If you are low energy you my need to help your mitochondria make more. remember you can't go any deeper in the physical body than the mitochondria where you then hit physics electrons the things that carry light , the light is made of both energy and information, the information tells the body what time it is out side the body, when the clocks outside the body sync up with the clocks inside the body you are in health.
Stay healthy my friends. You will here more and more about mitochondria as people are starting to figure out that it is all about time and physics and less about food and chemistry.
Mushrooms are amazing! They are fantastically complex creatures. Not plants something else, the closest thing I can think of to aliens. I think that human evolution has been influenced by mushrooms and play a role in our health.
Anything worth having is worth searching for. Lions mane has powerful brain benefits and it is one of the few things I want to take the rest of my life so it's worth doing some homework on it.
But now I'm searching for Lion's Mane. This is no easy task. You see the supplement industry is tricky, it is unregulated. Some capsules have the mycelium, simply explained thats the root part of the mushroom. You see if mushrooms are grown on a medium like rice after they are grown it is tough to say where the mushroom starts and the medium ends so you can powder the entire thing. My question with this is if I were to go looking for mushrooms in nature, which I've never done but I imagine that I wouldn't take the mycelium to eat. I would take what's called the fruiting body. This is the part of the mushroom that you would typically think of, the part that grows.
So mycelium products may be mostly rice or what ever medium, good for business bad for me.
Then there are extracts- some claim this form is superior. Also not what I would do in nature but who knows.
Then there is single, double and however many times fermented mushrooms. Is fermentation good? Sometimes but not always sometimes it enhances a substance other times it allows manufacturer to put a buzz word on the label that increases sales. I don't know for sure but in the case of mushrooms I don't think I'm concerned with fermentation.
Then there are raw mushrooms as far as I know raw was a buzz word a few years back that has lost some of it's power but still has some pull. I have heard a mushroom expert say always cook mushrooms. This makes sense so that rules out the raw stuff.
Organic Lions mane, I think organic is good but also know it's tough to produce things like mushrooms in fashion to get an organic certification. Wild harvested mushrooms would be good if they were legit.
USA or Foreign? Some companies push american mushrooms as much better quality as some cheap imports are just that, cheap and not clean. However, Mushrooms have been much more popular and established in Asia for a very long time so there may be some prime product that is seasoned being imported, I think this depends.
Buying dried mushrooms on line, this could be a good option to get them like a food but of course who know what kind of quality they are.
Growing my own- this is something I plan on doing. I want to have a reliable supplement pill powder or tincture but I plan on growing my own from a grow kit. I'll order this now and who knows in a few weeks I may be able do a fun post of me eating my lions mane.
Heres a breakdown on where I'm at so far.
This is what I've been taking. It has a mycelium and fruit blend but of coarse who knows if the cheep stuff is the base and the good stuff is sprinkled on top.
It says fermented on the front then has a ton of proprietary blend stuff in with it. If you've paid attention to this site you know that I think proprietary blends are the biggest scam in the supplement industry so that's that. The added blends say fermented and the mushroom part does not so once agin who knows.
I'm excited to try some other options
We'll see how my quest goes. I'm going to try some other options too. I really believe that if I can get my hands on some quality lions mane it will be very worth it from a brain perspective. I work in the industry and I'm having a hard time sorting it all out and figuring out what's real and what is hype so i can only imagine what other go through. It's confusing on purpose. the industry is unregulated so most people just read the front of the bottle. Other reject all supplements. I'm trying to find the balance but it's no easy task.
Stay healthy my friends
Teleomer length is a window into your health age as opposed to your time age. Today I ordered my test to see my telomeres. It will take me a while to get the test, submit it and get the results back but it will be very interesting to see. I'm sure in the past this age would have been stacked very far in the negative. I wish I would have gotten this done before I go a magnetico sleep pad and started my current health protocols. It will still give me info on how I'm doing.
If it comes back negative I will be motivated to keep doing all the healthy protocols I'm doing and if it comes back good I'll be able to see how well the things I'm doing are working. I will have a base line so that I can take the same test this time next year and see my progress. I'll let you know the results once this comes back.
The phrase Fat as Fuel should be Body Fat as Fuel
A keto diet can help with inflammation, brain function and weight loss but this popular diet is often misunderstood when it comes to fat loss. On a strict keto diet (70% fat) insulin goes down and the body will shed water, use up glycogen, burn muscle from reduced protein intake and drop waste due to the lack of fiber on a high fat diet. The body will always use what you consume before it taps into fat reserves so eating fats, Mct's and ketones all prevent you from true fat loss. I'm not saying that a person can't loose fat on a keto diet but I am saying that in many cases it is misleading because people loose weight and assume that it is all fat when in most cases it is not.
As the industry starts to really push out bogus info and bogus products to go with it here is some truth for you.
Many companies are marketing keto products that are just products with fat in them which may not spike insulin as much as sugar but will still prevent fat loss. This type of marketing needs to be avoided. For a person trying to loose fat on a keto diet measuring ketones doesn't seem to make much sense to me especially when people are consuming ketones and are still eating glucose. If I measure my glucose before a workout and then after the glucose is lower because I used it as fuel. Same with ketones so having high ketones shouldn't be the goal it should be fat loss. Then people go off the diet and the body tries to bring back the water, glycogen, muscle and waste and the person thinks they are fat again and that they have to be keto forever.
I did a past blog post on this
Keto Protein Scam
I think keto dieting is a great tool that can be used to achieve better brain power, health benefits, fat loss and much more unfortunately I think the alternative health industry, both products and practitioners are selling people on keto without really explaining how it works. On a keto diet calorie levels still matter and most people may not know just how many calories fat contains and as they initially shed weight they may think they can eat a massive amount of calories in the form of fat and loose fat at the same time. This is a miss understanding. You don't have to eat lots of fat to loose body fat. Calories, macro's, micro nutrients and timing all matter. If you wanna gain muscle strategically spike insulin with carbs, if you wanna loose fat don't consume fat all the time as fat consumption is fat sparing. The body will always use glucose, fat, mct's, ketones, before it does the work of breaking down body fat.
Look into intermittent fasting for real results
The Alexander Protocol
Today is what I think of as a critical mass day. I often think about how we know moving towards something will eventually result in a change but we don't know the exact time that change takes place until after the fact. Like trying to calculate exactly when aw wave will break.
Today two things happened
First I did my standard Day 1 Lifting workout but found myself doing this strange run in place, half jumping jack, push up, squat, jump rope with no rope type of a thing. I'm sure The gym was particularly crowed today and I already look strange because I wear my big blue blockers over my glasses because I hate the florescent lights and it really does effect me as I've tried working out with out them and it's terrible. Anyway, I seemed to have this energy that I haven't had since I was in Indiana at the residential facility with the guys (see the addiction blog). I have had this dance jump thing happen the past few weeks but today I couldn't help it I just wanted to move. Trying to lift heavy is less fun. I have tried it and I end up hurt and I don't bulk up I feel much better doing these type of body weight exercises but I mix it up. I'm sure this is because I am so much lighter than I was before and that is from intermittent fasting. It is a fun feeling that went away slow and I forgot about it. I'm glad it's back. This gives me all the motivation to keep going.
I came home extra worn out and ate. I have been eating the same meals on a rotation for some time. Tonight I ate the same, slightly less than I used to as I have been cutting back but this time half way through my meal I was over come with.....well, being really full. All of a sudden, full like I'm gonna throw up. Full like not one more bite. This is not the norm for me. From the time I was small I just don't get full the way normal people do. I was able to eat or drink massive quantities and have learned to rely on my brain to stop and not my stomach. I knew in theory that my stomach would shrink over time but I was not expecting it to hit so hard. Part of me was happy as I went for my after diner walk trying not to be sick. I have put myself on this program, I have laid it all out on this site and I am so happy that it is working but also that my core struggles are slowly being removed. The struggle to get in touch with my body and not my mind. To let me body tell me when it is full. The reason intermittent fasting is so significant is because we need to eat. Learning discipline with a need makes things that are not needs but wants so much easier to manage by default.
I weighed in this morning at 190.0 so close to breaking into the 180's but I have to keep in mind what I keep telling myself on this site. Weight isn't the goal, fat loss is. I'm trying to maintain strength and change my body composition. At some point my weight loss will stop and my body will continue to change. I don't think I've hit that yet but I can tell the lower my weight gets the slower the fat loss.
The good news is that my belt is about to go down to the next spot and that is a better indicator of progress than the scale.
It is amazing just how much fat we keep on our bodies I'm guessing I can loose another 5-10 pounds of fat.
So far down about 22 pounds total in 3 and a half months so right on track
The best part of this is that I feel really good. My workouts are getting really fun and I'm loving my routines. I've been going long enough to start to feel the benefits. I find myself thinking how great my life is which is not a head space I have spent enough time in. Happy to be in it though.
Calories Matter- Macro's Matter- Micro's Matter - Exercise Matters - Time Matters
What you eat is important but When you eat is also very important. I really like intermittent fasting and have been using a 24 clocks to show my eating window, fasting window and also what goes on in the body during those times. If you take the same amount of calories, the same macro's and spread them out over a long period of time the result of those foods will be different in the body because time matters.
Below are links, one to my 24 hour clocks page so you can see what I do and why. The second link is to my intermittent fasting page
I knew Iodine is important. I have been taking kelp for a while and even an iodine drop here and there. I recently have stumbled into so much info about the importance of these trace substances that we aren't getting (Boron, Lithium ect)
I was taking micro grams it looks like I should be taking Mili grams. This substance is so important for brain function, thyroid but also detoxification and much more.
I'll let you look up iodine benefits as I don't want this blog to be more personal about what I am learning/trying and less about the actual info. Like a list of things to consider and a log to track and see what I've started when.
I am excited to see what types of taking the product above with 12.5mg of iodine to see what definite I get. Especially with my history of metal toxicity. On the My Supps you will see a list of things I think everyone should consider and iodine is on the list but consider a mg dose and make sure that the product you try has iodide with the iodine. Of coarse see food and sea weeds are great ways to get you iodine as well.
When I first came to California I tried Yoga. I went to a studio and I was the only guy besides the teacher. He was a somewhat ridiculous person like something out of a movie. I am not a flexible person, I don't think I have ever touched my toes. The other thing about me is that I am very much a fringe person. I tend to avoid group activities and prefer to be one on one with someone than in a group. If I am in a group I like to be in the back corner. I still have a lot of punk in me. Anyway, the teacher pulled me up in front of the class had me try the move which I couldn't do and told the class "This is what tight looks like". I didn't go back. In fact I became a devout NOgi I was into health, consciousness, meditation and no yoga. I would joke about how everyone in California goes wine tasting, wants to travel and does yoga. Me being someone who is interested in things that are different from the normal standard cookie cutter clone people that seem to permeate society. I wanted nothing to do with Yoga.
Fast forward several years. Last fall I decided to give yoga another chance as I am older now and have very much realized that no one cares what I do. I had a great experience and after my yoga class last night I felt like this would be a fun thing to write about.
I still like to be in the back corner, I always hope the instructor won't come correct me or bring me more props because I can't do the pose right. Not because I care but only because I can get into a head space where I want to really relax and I know that I'm not very flexible. I only go to the restorative classes. It has worked out that I can do crossfit come home eat and then do a restorative yoga class and it's the perfect balance of activities.
The lesson for me here isn't just to not put all yoga in a bad box because of a one bad experience but also for me to keep pushing my comfort zones in different ways.
If you haven't tried yoga give it a shot it can be great There are so many different types. If one doesn't do it for you try a different type. I'm so glad I'm no longer a NOgi.
